Chief Executive Officer, Co-Owner
Dana Daniel is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of the Lubbock Autism Academy. Dana received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in 2000 and her Master’s Degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2006. Dana completed her BCBA certification from the University of North Texas in 2010, and she has over 13 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
Jeremy Daniel, MBA
Chief Operations Officer, Co-Owner
Jeremy Daniel is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of the Lubbock Autism Academy. Jeremy received his MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2014. Prior to joining the Lubbock Autism Academy, Jeremy was a teacher and coach at several high schools across Texas. Jeremy also has experience working with non-profit organization in several administrative positions. Currently, Jeremy is very involved with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and is a Team Lead with Hub City BBQ Committee.
Malaney Harmon, MA BCBA, LBA
Maleney received her Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies at Texas Tech University in 1994. She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism in 2014. Malaney taught for Plainview ISD for 5 years and Olton ISD for 15 years. She has taught elementary age children in general education and special education classrooms. Malaney joined the Lubbock Autism Academy full-time in 2016 as a BCBA.
Dianna "Jeanne" Terry, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Jeanne attended Texas Tech and received her Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education in 1987, and her Master’s degree in Special Education in 1991. Jeanne completed her BCBA certification with Texas Tech University, and she has worked with special needs children for 30 years. She taught for 8 years with Lubbock ISD and 22 years with Slaton ISD. Jeanne joined the Lubbock Autism Academy part-time in 2015, and full-time in 2017.
Jocelyn Logsdon MA, BCBA, LBA
Jocelyn is from Hale Center, but has lived in Lubbock since 2015. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Arts degree is Psychology from Angelo State University with Highest University Honors in 2015. She joined the Lubbock Autism Academy team during the summer of 2016 and has worked up from a behavior technician to a Behavior Analyst in Training (BAIT). She is currently the BAIT for secondary and some elementary clients. Joscelyn feels that her clients have changed her and helped her grow as much , if not more, than she has helped them. She is pursuing her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys creating pottery, reading Stephen King novels, and spending time with her husband, Josh, their two dogs, Goldie and Bear, and one cat, Charlie.
Mikayla Miller M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Mikayla received her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education in 2012 and her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 from Texas Tech University. Mikayla has experience teaching PPCD and 4th/5th grade reading resource in her home town of Lamesa, Texas and 4th grade reading inclusion in Seminole, Texas. Mikayla’s passion for autism began when she was 10 years old and her younger cousin was diagnosed at an early age. She joined the Lubbock Autism Academy in 2017 where she advanced her career from a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), to a Behavior Analyst in Training (BAIT), to a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Jessica was born and raised in Lubbock. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2010 and achieved Summa Cum Laude. She married her high school sweetheart and has a son in 1st grade. Professionally, she taught children with learning disabilities in 6th through 12th grade for 7 years in a private school setting. She joined the Lubbock Autism Academy team in the summer of 2018 as an RBT and advanced her career from a Registered Technician to a Behavior Analyst in Training (BAIT). Jessica is currently pursuing her Masters in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism at Ball State University. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys coaching her son’s basketball team, travelling with her family, and living at Buffalo Springs Lake.
Sunny was raised in Lamesa, Tx and relocated to Lubbock, Tx in the summer of 2010. She pursued her bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University and University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She then moved back home, where she worked for the Dawson County Central Appraisal District, directly underneath the Chief Appraiser. Sunny joined the Lubbock Autism Academy team in the fall of 2017 as a Behavior Technician. She advanced from a Behavior Technician, to a Registered Behavior Technician in less than 6 months and continued to achieve her goals. She also transitioned into a Clinical Administrative Technician (CAT) before later joining the Administrative team as the new Human Resources Specialist for Caprock. Sunny has a passion in helping everyone reach their full potential, whether it be a client or a staff member. She dedicates her time by reaching out as a helping hand, training new members of the team, and answering all questions that come her way. Sunny enjoys spending time with her daughter, growing within her church community, and being there for her Caprock family.
Katie graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. She taught kindergarten for 6 years in Lubbock, Austin, and Dallas. While in Dallas, Katie began pursuing her Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. While continuing her degree Katie worked as a Behavior Interventionist at an elementary school in Dallas, Texas. Katie recently relocated to Lubbock, Texas with her husband and son and found herself at Caprock Behavioral Solutions. She joined the Caprock team in September of 2019 and has quickly transitioned into a Behavior Analyst in Training!
Sara grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, and moved to Lubbock in 2015. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Lubbock Christian University in 2017 and plans to graduate from Ball State University with a Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in May of 2020. Sara has been a Caprock team member since June 2018. She currently works as a Behavior Analyst in Training in Elementary and After School programs. Sara’s hobbies include spenting time with friends, her cats Rain and Noodle, reading about Psychology and culture, and watching crime documentaries.
April grew up in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Childhood Education. She taught in the elementary classroom and served as an academic instructional coach for 15 years in the public school system. In January of 2019, she began working on her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and plans to graduate in July of 2020. April joined the Caprock team in May of 2019 and currently serves as a Behavior Analyst in Training (BAIT). In her spare time, April enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.
Karlee was raised in Abernathy, TX and relocated to Lubbock, TX in 2010. Karlee was a Paraprofessional in Special Education for Kindergarten through 2nd grade for a total of 5 years. She joined the Lubbock Autism Academy team in the summer of 2018 as a Behavior Technician. Karlee advanced from a Behavior Technician to a Registered Behavior Technician in less than a year and continued to grow through Caprock Behavioral Solutions. She later transitioned into Clinical Administration Technician (CAT) and soon became the Training Coordinator. Karlee has a passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential. She dedicates her time to training and helping individuals improve their ABA skills. In her spare time, Karlee enjoys spending time with her daughter and being involved in her church community.
